A Meeting on the Topic of “Academic Integrity”

On April 28, 2026, the Department of Kazakh, Russian, and Latin Languages of SKMA organized a meeting for students of groups SQAB-01, 02, 06-25 with the participation of the academy’s compliance officer, N.A. Pernebayev, on the topic of “Academic Integrity,” ahead of the examination session. The main purpose of the meeting was to explain the principles of academic integrity to students, to foster a culture of fairness and responsibility in the educational process, and to prevent academic misconduct (such as plagiarism, cheating, and deception) during the examination session. During the event, the importance of academic integrity and its impact on students’ personal development and future professional careers were thoroughly explained. In addition, information was provided about the consequences and responsibilities associated with violations of academic discipline. This meeting helped strengthen students’ commitment to honest learning and increased their sense of responsibility in the educational process.
