A meeting with students on adaptation and the educational process took place at the Department of Topographic Anatomy and Histology

On October 1, 2026, a meeting was organized at the Department of Topographic Anatomy and Histology of South Kazakhstan Medical Academy with students of the groups VM-MҚA-03-24, VM-MҚB-03-24, and VM-MҚA-04-24.
The main purpose of the event was to facilitate students’ adaptation to the Academy’s educational environment, familiarize them with the organization of the educational process, and explain the responsibilities of students.
During the meeting, the Head of the Department, Acting Professor, Candidate of Medical Sciences D.A. Murzanova, as well as R.B. Beisalиеva and B.Zh. Kobey, informed the third-year students about the main requirements for obtaining quality education, the importance of regular attendance, timely completion of academic assignments, and compliance with the principles of academic integrity. The importance of active participation in social life and striving for professional and personal development was also emphasized.
During the meeting, the Head of the Department also addressed the students and conducted an awareness-raising session on combating corruption, preventing corruption, and avoiding corrupt practices. In addition, special attention was paid to the principles of academic integrity and the importance of demonstrating honesty and responsibility throughout the educational process.
The students were informed about the procedure for calculating the “Integral GPA” indicator, the Academy’s internal regulations, and the requirements that must be observed during the educational process.
The meeting was held in an open dialogue format. Students had the opportunity to ask questions that concerned them and receive the necessary information. Such meetings contribute to students’ adaptation to the educational environment and help them properly plan their future academic responsibilities.
