A SKMA student took second place in an international competition dedicated to World AIDS Day

On November 25, 2025, the Omsk State Medical University (Omsk, Russia) hosted the International Competition of poster presentations and sanitary bulletins dedicated to December 1 — World AIDS Day. According to the results of the competition, the 2nd place was awarded to Elina Yuryevna Klimenko, a student of  SKMA, group ВМ-МОБ-06-24,
who presented the project titled “AIDS Prevention Programs Among Youth.” The scientific supervisor of the project is Dzhakupova Zhanna Erikovna, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Microbiology, Allergology and Immunology at SKMA.
The work was highly appreciated by the experts for its relevance, scientific validity, and practical significance, especially regarding HIV prevention among adolescents and young people. The competition committee highlighted the importance of developing educational programs and informational materials aimed at increasing young people’s awareness of HIV transmission routes and methods of protection.
