"ACADEMY GRADUATES AND EMPLOYERS: JOB FAIR-2025"

On 27.02.2025, JSC South Kazakhstan Medical Academy hosted a fair with employers in the traditional format at the National level on the topic "Graduates of the Academy and employers: a job fair". This year, more than 45 employers from all remote regions and cities of Kazakhstan took part: North Kazakhstan region, Pavlodar, Mangystau, Aktau, Atyrau region, Abai, Ulytau, Karaganda regions, Temirtau, Stepnogorsk, Balkhash, Zhambyl region, Zhanatas, as well as Turkestan region and Shymkent city. The organizer of the fair is the Dean's Office of Internship and Graduate Employment.
More than 30 people took part in the fair on the OP Pharmacy, TPF, namely: Sultanova T.Zh. deputy of the city Maslikhat of Shymkent; Asylbekov N.A., head of the Shymkent city Health Department; Nurmashev B.K. Professor, Member of the Regional Council of the Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Shymkent, President of the Pharmaceutical Cluster of the Southern Kazakhstan"; S.R. Karaev, Director of Investment Projects and Contract Production at Khimfarm JSC; heads of the Department of the Committee for Medical and Pharmaceutical Control of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Shymkent (offline), Turkestan, Kyzylorda, Zhambyl regions (online); representatives of the Association of Legal Entities "Association of Medical and Pharmaceutical Organizations "Damu" South Kazakhstan region; Sadikhan LLP in Shymkent; Medservice Plus LLP; Yugmedpharm LLP; Phyto-Apipharm LLP; Ecopharm International LLP; Rause-ADE LLP; BioEtica LLP; Zerde-pharm LLP; Nur Pharm LLP; TIN LLP"; Zada-Pharm LLP (online); representative of Almasat LLP, Almaty (online); "National Center for Expertise of Medicines and Medical Devices" of the Committee for Medical and Pharmaceutical Control of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of KazakhstanTaraz, head of pharmacy at the regional clinical hospital; representatives of the "Center for Mental Health" of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan, JSC "Khimpharm" (online), the Regional Center for Hyperbaric Oxygenation named after T.O. Orynbayev, the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan Republican Center for Forensic Examination (online), as well as the management of JSC "YUKMA" and the teaching staff of OP "Pharmacy" and OP "Pharmaceutical production Technology".
The purpose of the fair is to interact on the issues of graduate employment, taking into account the demands of employers and the needs of the labor market in modern conditions. The moderator of the fair was the Dean of the Dean's Office of Internship and Graduate Employment, PhD K.S.Kemelbekov For the grand opening of the fair, the floor was given to the Vice-rector of JSC SKMA, Professor M.U.Anartayeva.
In his speech, Vice-Rector, Professor M.U.Anartayeva discussed the competencies necessary for the successful work of graduates in training specialists of various levels for practical healthcare, as well as the formats of interaction between the field of practical healthcare and the academy for their development.
Number of graduates by internship level in 2024-2025:
 In the educational program "General Medicine (general practitioners)" - 183;
 According to the educational program "Dentistry" - 55;
 According to the educational program "Pediatrics" - 8.
The number of graduates in 23 residency-level educational programs in 2024-2025: 144.
Employers participating in the fair held queues and made short presentations. The fair participants confirmed the relevance and importance of holding such events, showed great interest in further discussing the above issues and expressed their willingness to cooperate with the Academy. Further, according to the second part of the fair, employers held discussions and meetings with graduates on employment at their workplaces. At the end of the fair, the results were summed up and suggestions from employers were heard.
According to the General Medicine educational program, 62 interns expressed interest in concluding contracts with employers from Balkhash, 24 from Atyrau region, 14 from North Kazakhstan region, and the remaining 36 interns expressed interest in concluding contracts with employers from other regions and cities. According to the Dentistry educational program, interns expressed interest in concluding contracts with employers in Shymkent and Turkestan region, and residents - with employers in all cities and regions. This indicates a high level of demand for graduates of our Academy. The Ontutik TV channel took part in this fair, where interviews were received from the staff of the Academy and employers.
