An event for 4th year students of the Faculty of Pharmacy to choose an educational learning path

On May 14, 2025, a traditional event was held in the assembly hall of the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy (SKMA) for 4th-year students of the Faculty of Pharmacy to help them choose an educational trajectory. The "Clinical Pharmacist" trajectory was presented by the Department of Pharmacology, Pharmacotherapy, and Clinical Pharmacology (Head of the Department – Candidate of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Associate Professor Zh.S. Toxanbayeva).
The main speaker from the department was Associate Professor Gulnara Turganbayevna Abuova, who shared her professional experience and spoke in detail about the role of the clinical pharmacist in the healthcare education system. She also emphasized that clinical pharmacists can apply their knowledge in various areas of practical activity: in pharmacies, healthcare institutions, research organizations in the pharmaceutical and medical fields, as well as in the pharmaceutical business sector.
During the event, students actively asked questions and received comprehensive answers. The meeting contributed to the strengthening of the professional skills of future specialists and inspired them to further development and self-improvement in the field of clinical pharmacy and pharmacoeconomics.
