Charity Event Dedicated to Mother's Day

Since 2023, Kazakhstan has been celebrating «Mother's Day» on the second Sunday of May each year. This special day is dedicated to recognizing the vital role of mothers in society and honoring their hard work and care.
On the occasion of this commemorative date, on May 12, 2025, senior lecturers of the Department of «Hygiene and Epidemiology» of the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy, Zhaksibaeva Zh.B. and Baikonsova L.O., organized a charity event at the «Specialized Children's Home» with the participation of the department’s faculty members and students from groups ПҚА-01-22 and ПҚБ-01-22.
The main goal of the event was to bring joy and uplift the spirits of the children living in the infant home, as well as to instill kindness, compassion, and a sense of charity in the students of SKMA.
As part of the event, an animator and a magician were invited to entertain the children. Their performances brought bright emotions and delightful memories to the little ones. The children eagerly participated in games, watched magic tricks, and enjoyed the festive atmosphere.
Additionally, the young residents received juice, sweet cookies, apples, bananas, as well as coloring books and colored pencils for creative activities.
The event was held in a warm and heartfelt atmosphere. The students also experienced a deep emotional impact, and this day left a lasting impression in their hearts. Such kind initiatives help strengthen human values in society and foster a sense of responsibility, empathy, and humanity among young people.
