The faculty of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, together with residents and interns, conducted a comprehensive educational and consultative meeting with 1st–3rd year students of the “Medicine” and “Dentistry” faculties, as well as students of the medical college, on the topic: “Sexual Education. Preservation of Reproductive Health. Contraception.”
The event was aimed at preparing future doctors — developing systematic clinical thinking, a deep understanding of reproductive health, and awareness of professional responsibility for its preservation.

Key topics were discussed during the meeting: from the principles of sexual education to modern, evidence-based approaches to contraception and reproductive health, with special emphasis on this relevant topic.
This event represented a significant stage in professional development, where knowledge transforms into clinical thinking, and responsibility becomes the foundation of medical practice.
Message from the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev:
“Preserving reproductive health and strengthening the institution of the family are strategic priorities of the state. It is especially important to provide young people with accurate information that fosters responsible care for their own health and the health of future generations.”
Reproductive health is not only a medical category but also an indicator of a society’s maturity and its ability to preserve the health of future generations.
