Dictation project "National DICTATION"

On September 5, as part of the celebration of the Day of Languages of the People of Kazakhstan, dedicated to the birthday of the teacher of the nation Akhmet Baitursynov, the project "National Dictation" was launched on the initiative of the Public Association "International Society "Kazak Tili". The project is scheduled to be held from October 13 to November 13 of this year, "National Dictation" with the participation of students and undergraduates of all educational programs of universities, as well as teaching staff. National Dictation is a nationwide cultural and educational project aimed at improving the status of the state language, improving the written literacy of citizens, and strengthening national identity and linguistic culture. The main goal is to develop the skills of literate writing in the official language and its promotion. This initiative means that literate writing is not only a measure of knowledge, but also a manifestation of civic responsibility and respect for language. In this regard, on October 24, 2025, teachers of the Kazakh, Russian and Latin languages Department, together with students from the Faculties of Dentistry and Medical Sciences, conducted a nationwide dictation. In the process of writing the dictation, the students showed thoroughness and great responsibility. All written papers were checked in accordance with the specified evaluation criteria.
