“Digital Maturity: Key Approaches and Components”

On October 30, 2025, South Kazakhstan Medical Academy held an insightful meeting on the topic “Digital Maturity: Key Approaches and Components.”
The event continued the Academy’s efforts to advance digital transformation and integrate modern technologies into education and institutional management. During the meeting, the Academy’s Digital Officer, Aibek Nurpeisov, delivered a report to heads of departments and leading specialists, presenting the current level of digital technology integration into education, science, and administrative processes. He also shared the third-quarter results of the “AI SANA” program for 2025. Mr. Nurpeisov emphasized the importance of systematic and step-by-step implementation of digital initiatives, drawing special attention to the role of artificial intelligence in medicine. He discussed the effectiveness and future prospects of applying AI technologies in both the educational process and medical practice. Department heads and specialists actively participated in the discussion, sharing their opinions and suggestions. The meeting resulted in identifying key priorities for the Academy’s digitalization and setting new goals for further progress. At the conclusion, participants highlighted the crucial role of digital maturity in strengthening the Academy’s development and improving the quality of medical education.
