
An event dedicated to discussing the Address of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Kemelevich Tokayev, to the people of Kazakhstan titled “Kazakhstan in the Era of Artificial Intelligence: Current Challenges and Their Solutions through Fundamental Digital Transformation” was held at the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy. The event was attended by Zhansarik Baubekuly Zhumen, Head of the “Youth Resource Center” of the Department of Internal Policy and Youth Affairs of Shymkent city; Berik Rakhmanaliuly Taszhanov, Head of the Youth Policy Department of SKMA JSC; as well as active students of the academy. During the meeting, participants focused on the key directions outlined in the President’s Address. In particular, they discussed the development of artificial intelligence, the acceleration of digital transformation, the adaptation of education and science to new demands, and the enhancement of youth participation in social life. In his speech, Zhansarik Baubekuly emphasized that the future of the country lies in the hands of educated and proactive young people, calling on SKMA students to take an active part in public initiatives and social projects. During the event, the Student Rector of the Academy, Merey Askar Elamankyzy, also spoke, noting that SKMA students have been conducting awareness campaigns on first aid in city schools and various institutions. She also proposed expanding such initiatives beyond the academy to the city and national levels, stressing that SKMA students are always ready to participate actively in such meaningful activities. The event became an important platform for shaping the active civic position of young people and encouraged them to contribute to the innovative development of the country.
