Today, as part of his visit to learn about the healthcare situation in the region, the First Vice Minister of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Timur Sultangaziev, held a public meeting at the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy. He listened to citizens’ concerns related to the healthcare system and provided responses. During the meeting, local residents had the opportunity to directly voice their pressing issues to the representative of the Ministry. Most of the raised questions were related to the provision of medicines and the quality of medical services. Timur Sultangaziev addressed each question individually. For some issues, he gave immediate instructions to the responsible bodies to take concrete action. He also spoke in detail about the reforms being implemented under government programs aimed at improving the healthcare system. After the meeting, the Vice Minister held one-on-one sessions with citizens, where each case was considered separately and a specific action plan was developed. As part of his visit, Timur Sultangaziev also held a briefing for the media at the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy. During the briefing, the Vice Minister spoke about the key priorities in the development of the healthcare sector.
