Interfaculty Art Contest “Zhas Tolqyn – 2025” Held

The annual interfaculty art contest “Zhas Tolqyn – 2025,” traditionally organized at the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy in honor of Student’s Day, was held once again this year. The event was conducted under the theme “Year of Workers,” and first-year students came well-prepared for the competition.
The festive event was opened by the Chairman of the Public Association “Alumni Association of the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy,” PhD in Pharmacy, Sapakbay Malik Myrzakhanuly. The panel of judges was also composed of distinguished guests. Among them were the Director of the Youth Center of the Academic Building named after Academician Mardan Saparbayev of the Central Asian Innovative University, Saparbek Kuanyshbekuly; advisor of the Shymkent City Branch of the “Zhashtar Rukhy” Youth Wing of the “Amanat” Party, Abay Syrlybayuly; and the Head of the Youth Affairs Committee of the Central Asian Innovative University, Raqatbek Karsanbek Nurzhanuly. The judges evaluated participants’ performances at every stage.
The contest was opened by talented students of the Faculty of Medicine, who set a joyful atmosphere on stage. They were followed by the students of the Faculty of Pharmacy, who showcased their talents to the audience. Later, active youth members of the Dormitory Student Council continued the program with entertaining performances, further energizing the competition.

This year’s “Zhas Tolqyn – 2025” contest consisted of several categories: “Poetry,” “Dance,” “Theatrical Performance,” “Instrumental Art,” and “Group Song.” Each faculty had its own hosts, contributing to the festive atmosphere.
At the end of the competition, winners in the categories of “Best Solo Song,” “Best Poetry,” “Best Dance,” “Best Performance,” “Best Instrumental Art,” “Best Group Song,” and “Best Host” were awarded Certificates of Appreciation.
According to the jury’s decision:
1st place — Faculty of Medicine,
2nd place — Faculty of Pharmacy,
3rd place — the team of active students from the Dormitory Council.
This evening, where youth and art came together, will certainly remain in students’ memories for a long time. We believe that the festive and inspiring “Zhas Tolqyn – 2025” contest will motivate participants and open the path to new achievements.
