International Experience of «SKMA» JSC master’s Student At Istanbul Medeniyet University

The Department of Doctoral and Master’s Studies of JSC «SKMA» has signed an agreement with «Istanbul Medeniyet University», which opens new opportunities for internships and exchange of experience for our students and master’s students. This cooperation contributes to strengthening academic ties, enhancing the quality of specialist training, and expanding the international integration of our Academy.
Thanks to the signed agreement, Nurzhanov Serikzhan Botabekovich, a Master's student in the specialized field of the 7M10101 «Medicine» educational program, successfully completed an internship from 03.11-17.11.2025 at «Istanbul Medeniyet Universitesi». As part of the program, Master's student gained unique clinical experience overseeing rare surgical procedures such as Mitrofanoff Surgery (bladder augmentation) and Malone surgery. Since these procedures are performed only in certain large scientific centers of Kazakhstan, the participation of the undergraduate in them has become an important stage in the professional development of the graduate student.

This international experience confirms the effectiveness of cooperation between JSC «SKMA» and foreign universities and contributes to the further development of international educational programs of our academy.
