International Medical Forum dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the Bukhara State Medical Institute

The International Medical Forum was held on September 5-6, 2025 in Bukhara, Republic of Uzbekistan. Aukenov Nurlan - Vice-Rector for Science and Strategic Development, Seidakhmetova Aizat - Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Seytkhanova Bibigul - Head of the Department - took part in the International Medical Forum dedicated to the 1045th anniversary of the birth of Abu Ali ibn Sino and the 35th anniversary of the founding of the Bukhara State Medical Institute.
Among the honored guests and participants of the event were representatives of far and near abroad - from Russia, India, China, Poland, Italy, rectors of universities, leading medical scientists. The staff of the Bukhara State Medical Institute named after Abu Ali ibn Sino widely celebrated its 35th anniversary. The international forum held in honor of this significant date became an important event in the life of the institute. Rector of the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy Zhanna Seitzhanova was awarded the title of Honorary Professor of the Bukhara State Medical Institute.
The events of the two days of the anniversary conference were held at a high level. At the conference, participants presented reports on current issues in medicine, the results of scientific research and innovative areas of practice. On the second day, a traditional solemn ceremony was held - the taking of the oath by future doctors in the village of Afshona - the birthplace of Abu Ali ibn Sina. The event began with the laying of flowers at the monument of the great scientist. The ritual acquired special significance in connection with three significant dates: the 1045th anniversary of Avicenna's birth, the 1000th anniversary of the creation of his outstanding work "The Canons of Medicine" and the 35th anniversary of the founding of the institute.
Future doctors swore to be devoted to the profession, always be ready to provide medical care, work honestly and responsibly.
The ceremony was attended by the rector of the institute Shukhrat Teshayev, the khokim of the Pishkun district Hayot Davlatov, professors of prestigious foreign universities, parents and representatives of the public.
Rector Sh.Zh.Teshayev awarded the commemorative badges "35th anniversary of the Bukhara State Medical Institute named after Abu Ali ibn Sino" to Zhanna Seitzhanova, Aukenova Nurlan, Seidakhmetova Aizat, Seitkhanova Bibigul.

Effective cooperation between universities, exchange of experience and friendly ties contribute to the achievement of new heights, will make a significant contribution to the development of scientific cooperation and exchange of experience between educational institutions.
