IV International Scientific and Practical Conference "Current Infections in the Republic of Kazakhstan and Central Asia"

Young Scientists’ Competition at the International Conference on Infectious Diseases On June 4–5, 2025, the city of Shymkent hosted the IV International Scientific and Practical Conference "Current Infections in the Republic of Kazakhstan and Central Asia". As part of the event, a Young Scientists’ Competition took place, featuring participants from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan — including students, residents, master’s students, and early-career researchers. The competition session was held on June 5 from 14:30 to 17:20, covering a wide range of topics such as clinical cases of COVID-19 and HIV, infectious diseases in children and pregnant women, as well as issues of epidemiology, diagnostics, and prevention. Session moderators: N.V. Sapargali, Zh.A. Anarov, E.M. Smail, and F.A. Beradalieva. The program featured 15 oral presentations Participants demonstrated a high level of academic training, relevance of their research, and a strong commitment to advancing infectious disease science. The competition served as a valuable platform for experience exchange, building professional connections, and supporting young talents.
