
On March 27, 2026, a job fair for the graduates of 2026 was held at the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy JSC. The main purpose of the event was to facilitate the employment of graduates, establish direct interaction between employers and young specialists, and contribute to addressing the shortage of medical personnel in the regions.
A welcoming speech at the opening of the job fair was delivered by the Vice-Rector for clinical affairs of SKMA, professor Bekaidar Kaldybaevich Nurmashev, who noted the importance of ensuring the employment of young specialists, their retention in the regions, and providing medical organizations with qualified personnel.

As part of the event, a plenary session was held under the moderation of the Vice-Rector for clinical affairs, professor Bekaidar Kaldybaevich Nurmashev. Representatives of medical organizations from various regions of the Republic of Kazakhstan took part in the plenary session. Presentations were delivered by Karlygash Karataevna Alenova, chief physician of the Kostanay regional children’s hospital; Azat Isataevich Abdualiev, deputy director of City Polyclinic No. 2 of Taldykorgan; Vitaliy Alexandrovich Omarov, head of department of the Multidisciplinary Hospital of Balkhash; Saltanat Adilbekovna Muratova, Head of the human resources department of medical organizations of the Turkestan Region Health Department; and Nurlybek Zhaylauovich Abdykalykov, Major of the Medical Service of the Border Service Department of the National Security Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan for the Turkestan Region. A report on the monitoring of the professional activities of graduates was presented by Eldor Shavkatovich Yunusmetov, Head of the Career Department of SKMA, who provided information on graduate employment indicators and the academy’s interaction with employers.
Representatives of medical organizations from the Turkestan region, the city of Shymkent, as well as Zhambyl, Karaganda, Kostanay, and Zhetysu regions took part in the job fair. In addition, representatives of medical organizations from the North Kazakhstan, Mangystau, Atyrau, Kyzylorda, and Pavlodar regions participated online and presented information on available vacancies.
During the job fair, graduates had the opportunity to communicate directly with employers, undergo preliminary interviews, and receive information about vacant positions, working conditions, and social support measures. The job fair became an effective platform for interaction between employers and graduates and contributed to addressing employment issues for young specialists and providing medical organizations with qualified personnel.
