Journey into History: An Educational Tour of the “Shymqala” Complex

On May 14, 2025, as part of the educational plan of the Department of Medical Biophysics and IT, an excursion titled "Student Geographical Tour" was organized to the historical and cultural museum complex “Shymqala” with the participation of students from groups V-FÖTB-05-24 and VM-MKqB-02-23.
During the excursion, students, accompanied by a museum guide, visited the main parts of the complex:
• The site of the medieval city of Shymkent
• Archaeological excavations
• Defensive walls and towers
• Artifacts and exhibits (ceramics, household items, tools)
A brief presentation about the “Shymqala” complex was shown to the students.
The trip to the “Shymqala” historical and cultural complex was a valuable spiritual and educational experience for the students. During the tour, they learned about the history of ancient Shymkent, its architectural features, and archaeological artifacts. The historical facts and exhibits in the museum inspire young people to respect the nation's history and foster patriotism.
The students shared their thoughts and impressions, realizing the importance of seeing historical sites with their own eyes and learning from authentic sources. Photo and video materials were collected, and a video about the excursion was created. This event was very interesting and left a strong impression on everyone.
