“Letter to a Veteran of the Great Patriotic War”

In accordance with the educational work plan for the 2024–2025 academic year, the Department of Foreign Languages of South Kazakhstan Medical Academy organized the event “Letter to a Veteran of the Great Patriotic War” among first-year students. During the war, one of the most important means of connection between the front and the rear was correspondence. Through writing letters, students expressed their heartfelt gratitude, longing, and support to the veterans. The theme “Letter to a Veteran of the Great Patriotic War” revives this spiritual connection, reminds us of history, and fosters patriotism and appreciation for peace among youth. In conclusion, the Department of Foreign Languages and the Department of Initial Military Training discussed the content and meaning of the letters written and awarded letters of gratitude to the most active and competent medical students — Aigerim Danebekkyzy Akhmetbek and Dilyara Ilhamkyzy Rakhimzhan — for their outstanding and well-written letters
