Literary Evening “The Great Teacher of Our Nation – Akhmet Baitursynuly”

A literary evening titled “The Great Teacher of Our Nation – Akhmet Baitursynuly” was held at the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy. The event was organized by the Library and Information Center together with the Department of Kazakh, Russian, and Latin Languages.
The event was opened by Acting Associate Professor of the Department of Kazakh, Russian, and Latin Languages, Candidate of Philological Sciences Zh. K. Temirbekova, who emphasized the important role and legacy of Akhmet Baitursynuly in the spiritual and cultural development of the Kazakh nation.
A. M. Shokhibaeva, a staff member of the Library and Information Center, delivered a presentation titled “Akhmet Baitursynuly – the Father of Kazakh Linguistics,” providing a broad overview of the scholar’s contributions to linguistics and education.
During the evening, students performed expressive readings of the teacher’s works. For example, D. T. Azhmakhan (group VM-MOA-11-25) read “Kazakh Custom,” A. A. Seitzhapbar (group V-FӨTA-05-25) performed the fable “The Horse and the Donkey,” D. U. Abdugazizova (group VM-SO-10-25) read “Letter to My Friend,” A. T. Baimyrza (group VM-SO-09-25) performed “Call to Study,” and Z. Kh. Davronova (group VM-PO-03-25) read “Letter to My Mother.”
At the end of the event, participants visited a special book exhibition titled “A Great Man Loved by His Nation.”
