Our Students Returned Victorious from Bukhara

On May 21–22, the 5th International Olympiad among medical university students was held at Bukhara State Medical Institute under the theme “From the Teachings of Avicenna to the Third Renaissance.” The event brought together over 500 students from more than 25 leading medical universities. The Olympiad was conducted offline, allowing participants to showcase both their theoretical knowledge and practical skills.
Our university was represented by six teams composed of 2nd, 3rd, and 4th-year students. Each participant demonstrated a high level of preparation, professional skills, and a strong desire to grow. As a result of the competition, all our students won prizes, which is a clear testament to their dedication and the quality of education at our university.
Our team took 2nd place overall among 25 teams from various medical institutions.

As part of the Olympiad, Doctors of Medical Sciences, Professors E.K. Bekmurzayeva and S.T. Ospanova were invited to Bukhara State Medical Institute as jury members and also as “visiting professors”.
Our visit became a significant contribution to the educational process and experience exchange between universities.
