Participation in the international scientific and practical conference "Medicine and Pharmacy. Past, Present, Future"

In April of this year, master's students of the Department of Pharmaceutical and Toxicological Chemistry took part online in the 6th All-Russian scientific and practical conference with international participation "Medicine and Pharmacy. Past, Present, Future", dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, which was held at the Pharmaceutical Faculty of the State Educational Institution of Higher Education of the Moscow Region "State Humanitarian and Technological University", Moscow Region, Orekhovo-Zurevo.
The event brought together young scientists, researchers and teachers of medical and pharmaceutical universities, providing a platform for exchanging experiences and presenting relevant scientific developments.
Master's students reported the results of their scientific research in the field of pharmaceutical ecology. The relevance of this area is due to the need to assess the impact of pharmaceutical substances and drugs on the environment, as well as to develop effective methods for their control. In the context of the growing volume of drug consumption, the risk of ecosystem pollution increases, which makes pharmaceutical ecology one of the priority areas of scientific research.
A second-year master's student of the educational program "Pharmacy" in the profile "Pharmaceutical ecology" Abdukarimova Kamola presented a report on the topic "Method of sample preparation of milk samples to determine the residues of medicinal substances" and took first place in the specialized section. The study reflects the important problem of food safety and the need to monitor residual quantities of drugs in food matrices.

First-year master's student of the same program Mataeva Gulmira presented a report "Steroid hormones as objects of pharmaceutical ecology" and also became the winner in her section. The work is devoted to the study of the stability and distribution of steroid hormones in the environment, which is of great importance in terms of risk assessment for ecosystems and human health.

Following the conference, a collection of scientific materials was published and posted on the eLIBRARY.RU platform.

The conference organizing committee congratulates the graduate students and their supervisor, prof. S.K. Ordabaeva, on their well-deserved victories and expresses gratitude for the high level of representation of SKMA in the international scientific arena and wishes them further success in their scientific and professional activities.
