Preservation and Promotion of the Traditions and Culture of the Kazakh People

An event dedicated to the Nauryz holiday was held at the Department of Hygiene and Epidemiology of the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy. Students majoring in Preventive Medicine, Public Health, and Pediatrics took part in the event. As part of the festive program, a theatrical performance was presented, reflecting the national traditions, spiritual values, and cultural significance of the Nauryz holiday. Special attention was paid to showcasing the customs and cultural heritage of the Kazakh people, which enabled participants to gain a deeper understanding of the richness of national culture, its educational value, and its role in preserving the continuity of generations. The event was organized and conducted with the participation of the department’s teaching staff: Candidate of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department Beysembaeva Z.I., Senior Lecturer Zhaksybaeva Zh.B., Senior Lecturer Aliyev D.S., and Senior Lecturer Avizova Z.K. The event became an important platform for the spiritual and moral development of students, strengthening respect for national traditions and promoting the cultural values of the people of Kazakhstan among young people.
