On June 4, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., a round table dedicated to the Day of State Symbols of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held at 10 Turkestan Street, Building #6, Room 213. The event was organized by the Department of Social and Humanitarian disciplines.
The Head of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Sciences, Shadyar Aldiyarovich Ashirov, delivered the opening remarks and introduced the audience to the objectives, goals, and thematic focus of the round table.
Faculty members of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Sciences actively participated in the discussion.
Purpose of the round table:
To foster respect for the state symbols, promote their historical significance, and emphasize their educational and moral value.
During the session, participants discussed a range of topics, including the history of the state symbols’ creation, their authors, and their symbolic meanings. Professor Ashirov delivered a detailed presentation and engaged in dialogue with the participants. A video related to the theme was shown, followed by a Q&A session. Participants shared their views on the state symbols and reflected on the importance of patriotic education and effective ways to achieve positive outcomes in this crucial area.
Such events play a significant role in cultivating a sense of patriotism among young people. The department intends to continue its efforts in this direction in the future.
