“Saken — the Falcon”

In honor of the 130th anniversary of the birth of Saken Seifullin — the steppe falcon, a bright star on the horizon, a unique and noble figure whose name remains forever engraved in history; a worthy son of our nation, an exemplary citizen, a beloved Kazakh poet and writer who made a significant contribution to the development of Kazakh literature and culture, as well as a prominent public and statesman — the teachers of the Department of Kazakh Language and Literature of the Medical College at the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy organized a literary evening entitled “Säken – Süñqar” (“Saken — the Falcon”).
During the event, the teachers presented video materials about S. Seifullin’s life and introduced students to his creative works — clear and pure like morning dew. The life of Saken, who embraced all forms of art, remains an inspiring example even today, and his poetry — as elevated and delicate as his noble nature — will forever remain a treasure passed down from generation to generation.
