SCIENTIFIC AND PRACTICAL CONFERENCE AT TASHKENT PEDIATRIC MEDICAL INSTITUTE

On May 30, 2025, at the invitation of the Tashkent Pediatric Medical Institute, representatives of JSC SKMA participated in the scientific and practical conference: «An integrated approach in pediatrics: educational technologies, diagnostic algorithms and treatment», which was held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. On behalf of our academy, the conference was attended by: Vice-rector for educational work and social affairs - Salim E.K., Head of the Department for the development of a joint educational program - Auezkhankyzу Dana and of the Department for the development of a joint educational program, assistant of the Department of Emergency Medicine and Nursing - Yunusmetov E. Sh.

During the conference, reports on topical issues of medical education, clinical practice, and simulation training were presented, an active discussion of modern approaches and practices took place, and professional contacts were established with representatives of other educational and medical institutions.
A particularly significant aspect of the participation was the attendance at a master class conducted at the TashPMI simulation center, which focused on the application of virtual reality technologies in the field of education. The master class was led by Zalim Z. Balkizov, Doctor of Philosophy, Director of the institute, and General Director of GEOTAR Solutions for Medical Education in Moscow, Russia. The event was organized for the training of specialists in medical education within the Russian Ministry of Healthcare. Participants had the opportunity to not only familiarize themselves with the technology but also to personally test the equipment in operation. They were introduced to contemporary virtual reality solutions designed for educational purposes and assessed their potential to enhance the engagement and quality of training for medical professionals.

After the plenary session, agreements on a joint educational program between JSC SKMA and TashPMI on the educational programs "Medicine" and "Pediatrics" were signed. The joint educational program opens up wide opportunities for the exchange of teachers and students, the implementation of interdisciplinary courses, joint research projects, and the integration of modern educational technologies.

Participation in the conference became an important stage in the expansion of scientific and professional relations of the academy, the exchange of experience and the introduction of advanced technologies in the educational environment, it also contributed to the strengthening of interuniversity cooperation and opened up new prospects for the introduction of digital technologies in the educational process. The participants expressed their gratitude to the organizers of the event for the high level of organization and the opportunity to integrate into the professional community.
