
At the College of Medicine of SKMA, the Department of General Education Disciplines organized sports competitions in tug-of-war and volleyball among first- and second-year students of various specialties, aiming to promote a healthy lifestyle and develop interest in sports.
The purpose of the competition was to encourage students to adopt healthy habits, foster an interest in sports, engage them in positive activities, prevent negative behavior, nurture a desire for socially beneficial work, and contribute to the development of positive personal qualities.
Teams of students from the specialties “Paramedic”(1st and 2nd year) and “Dentistry” (2nd year) took part in the competitions. The participants competed in two sports: tug-of-war and volleyball.
At the opening ceremony, the Head of the Department of General Education Disciplines, Amangeldi Toiboluly Sataev, delivered a speech wishing the participants good luck and fair play.
A total of six teams took part in the intense competition. The winners were awarded certificates, cups, and medals.
Tug-of-war:1st place — 2nd year Dentistry
2nd place — 2nd year Paramedic
3rd place — Dentistry
Volleyball:
1st place — team “Arystan” (2nd year Paramedic)
2nd place — team “Aspan Zhebelery” (1st year Paramedic )
3rd place — team “Kosmos” (2nd year Paramedic)
