Students of SKMA and SKU held an educational event “exploring medicines using artificial intelligence”**

On November 12, 2025, the Departments of Pharmacology, Pharmacotherapy, and Clinical Pharmacology of the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy, together with the Department of Chemical and Pharmaceutical Engineering of M. Auezov South Kazakhstan University, jointly organized an event for TFD specialists titled “Exploring Medicinal Products Using Artificial Intelligence.”
This topic is among the most relevant in modern pharmaceutical education. During the event, students were introduced to the possibilities of applying artificial intelligence technologies in the analysis, classification, and identification of medicinal products.
In addition, the event was actively attended by PhD, docent Korganbayeva Z.S., senior lecturers Dustanova Zh.T. and Seidaliyeva S.K., as well as lecturers Saparbekova S.N. and Turekhanova A.S. The event also involved the curatorial groups: FCR 01-25 (2nd year), FCK A 01-25 (2nd year), FCR 02-24 (3rd year), FCK B 01-25 (2nd year), FCK 01-24 (3rd year).
The event contributed significantly to enhancing students’ professional competencies, developing innovative thinking, and integrating modern technologies into the educational process.
