
On 13.11.25, the Department of Kazakh, Russian, and Latin Languages of the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy organized a meeting with law enforcement representatives among 1st-year students on the topic “Internet Fraud Tools.”
Students attended the meeting. The representatives explained in detail the current types of internet fraud and the methods most commonly used by scammers. They provided examples of how people are deceived through fake pages, fraudulent websites, mobile applications, and online transfers.
Students were advised to be cautious, not to trust suspicious messages, and never to share personal or banking information with anyone. It was also emphasized that protecting oneself from internet fraud is each person’s own responsibility.
During the meeting, students asked questions of interest, and the representatives offered practical advice. The representatives reminded once again: “Be careful; online safety is your primary protection.” The meeting was informative and provided students with useful practical knowledge
