On September 11, 2026, in order to promote family values, foster reading traditions among parents and children, develop a reading culture, increase interest in reading, and contribute to the formation of a reading nation, on September 13 — Family Day — the youth library organized a meeting with the Sarybaev family for the evening “Reading a Book with the Family”. The evening was attended by a senior lecturer from the Department of Kazakh, Russian, and Latin Languages and students from group V‑STOM‑09‑26.

During the meeting, the guest spoke about her life journey, family traditions, and her love of reading. Family members shared their favorite books and spiritual values, and showed young readers instructive lessons.
As part of the “one country, one book” initiative, the event featured Kabdesh Zhumadilov’s novel “Tagdyr,” which explored the themes of the country and the land, national values, and historical destiny. Furthermore, as part of the “One City – One Book” campaign, which is implemented on a city‑wide scale, the work of the writer Nasireddin Seraliyev was presented. The participants exchanged views on issues of morality, family, upbringing, and childhood in the writer’s works.
