“Urgench-2030” returned victorious from the 2nd International Olympiad

On April 25–26, the Urgench State Medical Institute hosted the 2nd International Olympiad among students of medical universities — “Urgench 2030”. More than 360 students from over 20 leading medical universities in the world took part in the event. The Olympiad was held offline, which allowed the participants to demonstrate both theoretical knowledge and practical skills.
Our university was represented by a team of ten second-, third- and fourth-year students. Each participant demonstrated a high level of preparation, professionalism, and aspiration for development. As a result of the competition, all our students won prizes, which became a vivid confirmation of their dedication and the quality of education at our university.

As part of the Olympiad, Elmira Kuanyshevna Bekmurzaeva was invited to the Urgench State Medical Institute as a «Visiting Professor». During her stay in Urgench, she gave a series of lectures at the departments of "Internal Medicine and Dermatovenereology" and "Internal Medicine and Oriental Medicine", which became an important contribution to the educational process and the exchange of experience between universities.
In addition, Elmira Kuanyshevna Bekmurzaeva took part in the Olympiad as a member of the jury in the discipline “Internal Medicine”, making her professional contribution to the assessment of the knowledge of the participants.
