On April 30, 2026, Sabitov T.Zh., Senior Lecturer of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Disciplines, together with the ВМ-СОАБ-05-24 group, held a meaningful and relevant curatorial hour on the topic: "Widespread of the Concept of "Tolýk Adam" (The "Holistic Man")," dedicated to the work of the great Kazakh public figure Abai Kunanbayuly.
Abai Kunanbayuly is undoubtedly a figure who occupies a special place in the spiritual development and worldview of the Kazakh people. His creative legacy remains relevant today, playing an important role in the education of the younger generation. In particular, Abai's concept of the "Holistic Man" is a profound philosophical doctrine aimed at the comprehensive development of the individual. In modern society, amidst a spiritual crisis, social problems, and changing values among young people, Abai's teachings are particularly significant. Therefore, the widespread dissemination of the concept of the "Integrated Person" is a crucial task from an educational, socio-cultural perspective.
At the end of the mentoring session, the teacher highlighted the main ideas of this concept, "Tolyq Adam," and concluded that: "The Integrated Person" is a harmonious personality, consisting of the unity of mind, heart, and strength. Therefore, this concept is the foundation for the spiritual rebirth of youth and contributes to the resolution of social problems in society. Therefore, every young person should: firstly, strive for self-development; secondly, be fair and responsible; and thirdly, strive to contribute to society. Abai's teachings are of eternal value. Understanding and applying them in life is the task of each generation.
