Workshops on Neuromuscular Pathologies Held

In Shymkent, at the Rixos Khadisha Shymkent Hotel, the international scientific and practical conference “Interdisciplinary Neurology” continues. Today, within the framework of the conference, thematic sectional sessions and workshops are being held on rare and demyelinating pathologies (MS, NMOSD, MG), as well as neuromuscular diseases.

Overall, the conference discusses important topics such as neurogenetics and neurodegenerative disorders, demyelinating diseases, orphan disorders affecting the nervous system, cerebrovascular pathology, peripheral nervous system diseases, neurorehabilitation, epilepsy and epileptic syndromes, as well as epilepsy surgery.

It should be noted that this large-scale scientific event was organized by the Department of Neurology, Psychiatry and Rehabilitology of the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy, under the leadership of Candidate of Medical Sciences, Professor N. A. Zharkynbekova.

The conference is attended by leading specialists, neurologists, neurogeneticists, rehabilitologists, and neurophysiologists from Russia, the United Kingdom, Germany, and Uzbekistan.
