A round table discussion on “Youth and Anti-Corruption Culture” was held today at the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy, organized by the Department of Chemical Sciences, Biology, and Biochemistry. The purpose of the event was to foster an anti-corruption culture among students, promote the principles of honesty and fairness, and enhance the civic engagement of young people. The round table was attended by the Vice-Rector for Educational Work and Social Affairs of the Academy, Salim Yerbol Kaltursynuly; Head of the Department, K.N. Daurenbekov; the Academy’s Compliance Officer, Nurgali Alikhanuly Pernebaev; as well as faculty members and students. During the discussion, participants exchanged views on the negative impact of corruption on society, ways to prevent it, and the personal responsibility of every citizen in this regard. Students took an active part in the discussion, asked questions, and shared their opinions. At the conclusion of the event, participants emphasized the importance of enhancing legal literacy among youth and fostering integrity as a key value in building a just society.
