Youth unemployment: causes and solutions

Senior lecturer of the department "History of Kazakhstan and socio-social disciplines" A. A. Bekkulova held a discussion with students of the 2nd year of the Faculty of Medicine on the topic: "Youth unemployment: causes and solutions", which is an urgent socially important problem for young people. 
Purpose: to identify the causes and ways to solve the problem of youth unemployment during the discussion, to develop critical thinking, research and speaking skills of students.
Although nowadays young people occupy a special place in society, they often face such a serious problem as unemployment. The depth of this problem is increasing every year, due to inequality in the labor market, gaps in the education system, and regional differences.
Youth unemployment is an urgent and alarming socio-economic problem today.
Youth unemployment is the inability of able-bodied youth who have received an education or who want to get a job. This phenomenon poses a threat not only to the individual, but also to society as a whole: there is social inequality, emigration, social instability, and a shortage of qualified personnel.
This discussion contributed to the formation of a deep understanding of current social problems among young people and an active approach to their solution. Such events strengthen students' civic position and give them motivation to take their place in society.
