Dear colleagues!
‘South Kazakhstan Medical Academy’ JSC together with the Educational and Methodical Department of the Republican Educational and Methodical Council in the direction of training - Health Care, expressing to you its respect, invites you to take part in the International Scientific and Methodical Conference on the theme: “Transformation of medical education: global trends and training future specialists”, for the speech of your professors, teachers, young scientists at the sectional sessions, which will be held on 17 April 2026.
The conference programme includes plenary and breakout sessions with the participation of Educational and Methodical Department of the Republican Educational and Methodical Council, medical higher education institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan, partner universities.
The purpose of the conference is to examine issues related to the use of artificial intelligence, digital tools, interactive teaching methods, simulation technologies, and other innovations in the training of medical and pharmaceutical specialists, as well as to discuss ways to improve the quality of education in these fields in order to ensure the successful adaptation of graduates to the rapidly changing conditions of the healthcare sector and pharmaceutical practice.Conference format: the Conference will be held in a hybrid format (face-to-face and remote) with the organisation of a zoom-conference.
Venue (offline/online): Shymkent (Kazakhstan), al-Farabi Square, 1, ‘South Kazakhstan Medical Academy’ JSC.
Start of the Conference: 09.00 am.
All articles of the Conference will be published in the peer-reviewed journal in the field of medicine, pharmacy and public health ‘Kazakhstan Journal of Medicine and Pharmacy (KJMPh)’, published by ‘South Kazakhstan Medical Academy’ JSC . The journal is indexed in KazBC; in the international database Information Service, for Physics, Electronics and Computing (InspecDirect).
To participate in the sectional sessions of the International Scientific and Methodological Conference on the theme: “Transformation of medical education: global trends and training future specialists”, please submit an application (Appendix 1) and send article (manuscript) and oral report (presentation) to it in accordance with the requirements (Appendix 2).
The travelling expenses will be paid by the sending party.

The Conference program will include the following sectional meetings:
Section 1: Transformation of pharmaceutical practice under the influence of AI
Section 2: Integration of general education disciplines for the development of professional competencies of future doctors
Section 3: Simulation and clinical training: from virtual clinics to real practice
Section 4: Digital transformation and AI in medical education
Section 5: Integration of science and education: project-based learning
Section 6: Development of interdisciplinary skills in basic disciplines for clinical practice
Section 7: Active and integrated learning: methodologies for developing clinical thinking
Articles and reports submitted to the Conference must contain experiences, achievements, and results of relevant scientific research in the field of medical and pharmaceutical education, and have theoretical and/or practical significance for education.

Plenary presentations and reports are determined by the Organizing Committee.
Electronic certificates for Conference participants will be sent to the participant’s email.
The scientific journal "Kazakh Journal of Medicine and Pharmacy (KJMPh)" will publish materials from the Conference on the "SKMA" JSC website, with a download link provided.
Requirements for Article (Manuscript)
All Conference articles will be published in the peer-reviewed journal in the field of medicine, pharmacy, and healthcare: Kazakh Journal of Medicine and Pharmacy (KJMPh) by "South Kazakhstan Medical Academy" JSC. The journal is indexed in KazBC and the international database Information Service, for Physics, Electronics, and Computing (InspecDirect).
Manuscripts submitted to the journal Kazakh Journal of Medicine and Pharmacy must be original and not previously published. More detailed information on the submission of articles (manuscripts) is available on the university website at the following links:
Submission Deadline for Articles: Until 16 th March 2026.

To include an article in the scientific journal Kazakh Journal of Medicine and Pharmacy (KJMPh), send the application, the article text, and the document confirming the anti-plagiarism check (the uniqueness must be at least 70%) in one email as three attached files.
Requirements for Oral Presentations
The presentation must be accompanied by a PowerPoint presentation (PowerPoint 2003-2016).
- Plenary presentations should not exceed 7-10 minutes.
- Oral presentations during sectional meetings should not exceed 5-7 minutes.
The presentation should follow standard rules, including the title of the university/organization, the name of the paper, the full name of the speaker, the city, the country on the first slide, and the contact details (email, phone) on the last slide.
The duration of presentations will be strictly defined by the Conference program.
The Organizing Committee requests presenters to prepare and time their presentations in advance to comply with the meeting schedule and ensure the program is followed efficiently.

Financial Conditions for Participation: No organizational fee is charged for participation in the Conference!
Transfer and Accommodation: Travel expenses are covered by the sending party. Transfer services are not provided.
