10 Years of the “Pharmaceutical Production Technology” Department

The South Kazakhstan Medical Academy hosted a ceremonial event dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the “Pharmaceutical Production Technology” Department.
The event was opened with a congratulatory speech by the Rector of SKMA JSC, Zhanna Seitzhanova, who emphasized that today’s anniversary is not only a memorable date but also an important milestone that highlights the results of persistent work, continuous research, and dedication to education and science. The floor was then given to visiting professor, SAP ABAP and integration consultant, IT and digital transformation specialist Mr. Ozan Celik. He highly praised the students’ enthusiasm for science and their drive toward innovation, expressing strong confidence in their future potential. During the event, an informative presentation was delivered about the history of the department and its scientific and industrial achievements over the past ten years. The names of the teachers who made significant contributions to its development were specially acknowledged. 

The founder of the department, Candidate of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Acting Professor Botagoz Ongarqyzy Torlanova, also took the stage to congratulate the team on the anniversary. The celebration continued with heartfelt video messages from former staff members and alumni who are now working in the pharmaceutical production sector. They expressed gratitude to the faculty and extended their warm wishes. The ceremonial gathering concluded with an engaging and educational intellectual competition among students. Based on the results, the “Pharma Evolution” team won 1st place. “Vita Forse” took 2nd place, and the “Farm Team” secured 3rd place.
