A celebratory event marking republic day was held at South Kazakhstan Medical Academy

South Kazakhstan Medical Academy hosted a celebratory event dedicated to Republic Day.

During the ceremony, Yerbol Kaltursynuly Salim, Vice-Rector for Educational Affairs and Social Issues, presented Zhanna Serikzhankyzy Seitzhanova, Rector of South Kazakhstan Medical Academy JSC, with the medal of the Ministry of Healthcare of the Republic of Kazakhstan for her contribution to the development of the healthcare sector.

In her address, Rector Zhanna Serikzhankyzy Seitzhanova noted that this year marks the 35th anniversary of Kazakhstan’s independence. Over the years, the country has transformed from a young state into a strong nation recognised internationally and committed to the values of peace and harmony. She also highlighted South Kazakhstan Medical Academy’s contribution to the development of national medicine and science and extended her heartfelt wishes for success and well-being to the entire university community.

During the celebration, the following members of the Academy’s staff received awards and commendations:

Amangeldi Mamaiuly Yusupov, Assistant Lecturer at the Department of Surgery and Oncology, received the Yenbek Ardageri (“Veteran of Labour”) Medal.
Gulsara Leskyzy Eleussizova, Head of the Human Resources Department, and Gulbagi Orymbetova, Head of the Department of Engineering Disciplines, received Certificates of Honour from the Ministry of Healthcare of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Gulmira Akberdieva, Assistant Lecturer at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, and Aizhamal Kadyrkyzy Tilepbaeva, Lecturer at the Department of General Education, received Letters of Appreciation from the Minister of Healthcare of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Bibigul Zaidullakyzy Doltaeva, Head of the Academic and Methodological Centre, received the honorary diploma “Excellence in Higher and Postgraduate Education.”
Marina Borisovna Ivanova, Head of the Department of Medical Biophysics and Information Technology, received a Certificate of Honour from the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Akmaral Atygaikyzy Bekkulova, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Kazakhstan History and Social Sciences, received the honorary diploma “Til Zhanashyry” (“Advocate of the Kazakh Language”).
Umida Khasanova, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Foreign Languages, received a Letter of Appreciation from the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
In addition, special letters of appreciation were presented to several Academy employees on behalf of the Academy’s founder, Serikzhan Seitjanuly Seitjanov, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Academician of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Professor, and Zhanna Serikzhankyzy Seitzhanova, Rector of South Kazakhstan Medical Academy JSC.

The celebration concluded with a concert programme.
