A festive evening was held in honor of International Women’s Day

A festive evening dedicated to March 8 – International Women’s Day was held at the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy.
The celebration was opened with a congratulatory speech by the Rector of JSC “SKMA,” Zhanna Seitjanova. Zhanna Serikzhanovna highlighted the significant contribution of women working at the academy and highly appreciated their role in society and in the field of medicine.

A woman is the beauty of life, the harmony of the family, and the pillar of society. You symbolize kindness and care, patience and wisdom, warmth and humanity. Today women achieve great success in education and science, medicine, and all spheres of public life, making a significant contribution to the development of our country.
Women’s work also plays a special role in our academy. You develop education and science, educate future doctors, and enhance the prestige of the medical profession. On this festive day, I wish you good health, well-being for your families, happiness and joy, and success in your work, — said the rector.

During the evening, academy staff recited poems by Kazakh poets and writers dedicated to the theme of motherhood, bringing warmth to the audience. In addition, the academy’s female dancers performed graceful dances, adding beauty to the celebration. A stage performance prepared by talented students reminded everyone of the bright memories of school childhood.
The festive evening concluded with the song “Bakyt” (“Happiness”) performed by students. To the melody of the song, the young men presented sweet treats to the women attending the celebration.
