
A festive event titled “Gratitude is My Duty” was held, organized by the Department of Kazakh, Russian and Latin Languages of South Kazakhstan Medical Academy.
The event was opened by the Vice-Rector for Educational Work and Social Affairs, Yerbol Salim Kaltursynuly, who highlighted the significance and meaning of the celebration. In his speech, he emphasized that expressing gratitude is a noble human virtue that instills kindness and compassion in the younger generation. He also congratulated the academy’s staff and students on the occasion and wished them success in initiatives aimed at strengthening national unity.
Arthur Alexandrovich Dreiling, Deputy Chairman of the German Cultural Center of Shymkent, member of the Public Council of Shymkent, and member of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan, delivered a congratulatory speech. He expressed his pride in being born and raised in Kazakhstan and contributing to the country’s development.
During the festive evening, students showcased their talents. Zhansulu Zhappar (group PK-01-25) recited the poem “Gratitude to the Teacher.” Akerke Idiyat (group FOT-01-25) and Yerkebulan Yergazyuly (group VM-SQB-03-25) performed the kuy “Balbyrauyn.” Bakyt Kalybek (group VM-FOT-01-25) sang the song “Alǵys,” while Aliaskar Sheriev (group VM-SOA-08-25) masterfully performed the kuy “Kóńil tolqyny.”

The female dance group performed the dance “Kazakh Girl,” while international female students presented an Indian dance, demonstrating a vivid example of multicultural friendship. Aruzhan Zupparaly performed the piano piece “Melodious Tunes,” adding elegance to the evening. Polina Nazarenko (group V-FO-02-25) performed the song “My Celebration,” creating a festive atmosphere.
At the end of the evening, the Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Arynbayev Kuttybek Esengeldyuly, presented letters of appreciation to the students who actively participated and performed in the event.
