
A festive event was held at the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy in honor of Shanyrak Day. The event was organized by the academy’s college staff and students.
During the festive program, students recited poetry, performed melodic music, and showcased dance performances. A group of girls performing the “thousand turns” dance also impressed the audience with their talent.

In keeping with Kazakh traditions, sweets were distributed as part of the celebration, adding charm and solemnity to the event. In addition, competitions in national sports were held. In the tug-of-war contest, students displayed their strength, while the traditional game of “asyk atu” tested their accuracy and agility.
At the conclusion of the event, the top performers were awarded special prizes. The celebration helped foster respect for national traditions among students and promoted unity and solidarity within the academy community.
