A Good Deed Is the Wealth of the Soul

On October 7, 2025, the Department of Kazakh, Russian, and Latin Languages of the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy, within the framework of the “Rukhani Zhangyru” program, organized a charitable event titled “Doing Good Is the Wealth of the Soul” at a nursing home located at 174 Lermontov Street, Shymkent.
First-year students of the Pharmacy and Medicine faculties took part in the event, preparing a concert program and thoughtful gifts for the residents. The program included traditional Kazakh kyuis played on the dombra, heartfelt songs such as “Zhan Syrim”, “Ana”, and “Atameken”, as well as folk dances and a youth flash mob.
The event was held in a warm and heartfelt atmosphere. The students brought joy, care, and kindness to the elderly residents. At the end of the meeting, the audience expressed sincere gratitude for the attention, compassion, and willingness of young people to share goodness with the older generation.
Such events help foster humanity, compassion, and respect for the elderly in future doctors.
