A Lecturer’s New Book Inspires Students

Saparbek M. Sakhov, Associate Professor of the Department of History of Kazakhstan and Social Sciences, Candidate of Historical Sciences, has published a collection entitled “The Horizon of Perspectives.” In this regard, the Department organized an informative meeting to present the new publication to students and members of the teaching staff.
The main purpose of the meeting was to introduce students to the lecturer’s creative and scholarly work, promote interest in reading, broaden their intellectual horizons, and contribute to the development of independent thinking and a conscious civic outlook.
During the event, Saparbek M. Sakhov spoke about the background of the collection “The Horizon of Perspectives,” its content and key ideas, and shared his reflections on the purpose and significance of the work. In the collection, the author addresses issues related to society, the individual, spiritual values, life principles, and contemporary perspectives, encouraging readers to reflect deeply, seek new knowledge, and develop their own views.
During the meeting, faculty members and students had the opportunity to ask the author questions and exchange opinions about the content of the collection and the issues discussed in it. The students showed particular interest in the author’s creative journey, life experience, and perspectives reflected in the book.
