
At the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy, the Department of Kazakh, Russian and Latin Languages organized a literary and educational evening titled “If you seek wisdom, read Abai.”
The event was opened by the Dean of the International Faculty, Sarsenbekova Altynai Alibekkyzy, and the Head of the Youth Policy Department, Turabek Madina Aidarkyzy.
During the evening, Amen Shaima delivered an informative presentation about the life and works of Abai. In addition, Fareha Fatima, Nadaf Mahmmadbasha Ramajansab, and Farhan Syed Mohammad recited by heart the great poet’s poems “Do not strive for vanity,” “It enters through the ear and captures the soul,” and “Do not boast without knowledge.”
Furthermore, Shahla Naim performed “A Bright Moonlit Night Without Wind,” Shumaila Naim — “Summer,” Shehla Gul — “Do You Remember Your Youth,” Vanshika Dadich — “In My Youth I Did Not Value Knowledge,” Abdal Ahmed — “It Enters Through the Ear and Captures the Soul,” Chandanshive Satej Shripati — “Words Born of Knowledge,” Siddique MD Sohail — “I Write You a Greeting,” while Nishita Jalwania performed the song “You Are the Apple of My Eye.”
At the end of the event, certificates of appreciation were awarded to the students who actively participated.
