
Today, South Kazakhstan Medical Academy once again hosted a meeting aimed at implementing the key directions of the “Law and Order” concept. The purpose of the event was to enhance students’ legal awareness, prevent corruption, and strengthen discipline and academic integrity within the institution. The meeting was attended by the academy’s compliance officer Nurgali Pernebayev, head of the Youth Policy Department Berik Taszhanov, specialist in aesthetic and social affairs of the same department Daurenbek Zhienbek, as well as first-year students of the medical college under SKMA. Mr. Pernebayev spoke to students about developing an anti-corruption culture, preventing violations, and avoiding fraudulent activities. Using real-life examples, he explained situations that could lead to student expulsion. Mr. Taszhanov discussed the academy’s educational and youth policy directions, encouraging students to take an active part in campus life. He noted that the academy’s 12 student organizations provide opportunities to spend free time productively, develop leadership qualities, and enhance social engagement. Mr. Zhienbek informed students about the GPA platform, explaining its role in evaluating students’ public activity and demonstrating how to upload information about events and scientific articles into the system. The student rector, Merey Askar Elamankyzy, gave a detailed overview of the 12 student organizations and their contributions to the academy’s community. At the end of the meeting, students asked questions that concerned them and received clear and comprehensive answers.
