A patriotic event was held

On May 6, 2026, an educational and patriotic event dedicated to Defender of the Fatherland Day (May 7) and Victory Day (May 9) was held at the Department of General Practice-2 of the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy.
The event was organized by Assistant Zhiyen A.K. and Acting Associate Professor, Candidate of Medical Sciences Sartaeva K.A., with the participation of the teaching staff and interns of groups ІЖТДҚ 15-25, 16-25, 17-25, and 18-25.
During the event, participants discussed the importance of patriotism, respect for the historical heritage of the country, the heroism of the Great Patriotic War veterans, and the importance of preserving the memory of the defenders of the Motherland. The participants emphasized the significance of courage, unity, and civic responsibility for the younger generation.
As part of the event, interns and faculty members visited the memorial complex and the Museum of Military Glory, where they became acquainted with historical exhibits, archival materials, and commemorative stands dedicated to the heroes of the Great Patriotic War, including the Hero of the Soviet Union Sabyr Rakhymov.
The event contributed to strengthening spiritual and moral values, fostering respect for the history of the country, and promoting patriotism among young people.
