A Recitation Contest Was Organized on the Occasion of National Book Day

Today, on the occasion of National Book Day, a recitation contest titled “Love and Life in Mukagali’s Poetry” was organized at the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy by the Department of Microbiology, Allergology and Immunology in collaboration with the Youth Policy Department. 

The event took place at the academy’s Library and Information Center and aimed to develop students’ creative abilities. A total of 17 students participated, competing in two stages.

The participants выразительно recited poems by the outstanding poet Mukagali Makatayev, and their performances were evaluated based on diction, emotional expression, stage presence, and artistic mastery.

As a result of the competition, the best participants were awarded 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places, as well as special nominations. In addition, a book exhibition dedicated to the poet’s works was organized at the Library and Information Center, giving participants and visitors an opportunity to explore Mukagali’s literary heritage more deeply.
