A reunion of the 1986 graduates of SKMA was held

Today, South Kazakhstan Medical Academy hosted a 40th anniversary reunion of graduates from the 1981–1986 classes. At the ceremonial event, Vice-Rector for Educational Work and Social Affairs Sälim Yerbol Qaltursynuly delivered a congratulatory speech. He noted that despite the passing of 40 years, the graduates have maintained strong group unity and honored active alumni who helped organize the reunion. The anniversary gathering was attended by graduates from abroad: Andrei Sihwart (Group 3) from Germany, Veronika Nam (Group 3) from Russia, and Diloram Ikramova (Group 2) from Uzbekistan. On behalf of the 1981–1986 graduates, they presented a commemorative gift and the “40 Years” anniversary medal to the Rector of the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy, Zhanna Serikzhanovna.

During the meeting, Sara Jidebayeva, a member of the educational and methodological association for the Pharmacy specialty in Kazakhstan, lecturer at the West Kazakhstan Higher Medical College and a highly qualified pharmacist, as well as Kairat Kenschilkyzy Zhaldybaev, senior lecturer of the Department of Pharmacy at the Kazakhstan–Russian Medical University named after academician Mukhtar Aliyev, expressed gratitude to their teachers on behalf of the graduates. This reunion was not only a heartfelt nostalgic gathering but also a platform for good deeds. On behalf of the 1986 graduates, Jamilya Omarova (Group 5) and Nona Yun (Group 2) presented a special scholarship named after “Yesbolgan Tegisbayev” to students of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Arailym Erubayeva and Aiaulym Saparbeks.
