A Secular State – The Foundation of a Stable Society

A seminar on the topic “A Secular State – The Foundation of a Stable Society” was held at the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy. The seminar was attended by Almasbek Shagyrbay, Deputy Director of the Center for Religious Studies of Almaty and PhD in Religious Studies. He spoke to the young people about the importance of improving religious literacy, developing a critical approach to information, and demonstrating responsibility when engaging with religious content shared on social media. During the meeting, students asked questions of interest to them and exchanged views.
