A SKMA staff member has joined the Council of Young Scientists of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan

Nurgali Rakhymbayev, PhD, Acting Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Pharmaceutical Technology and Organization of Pharmaceutical Affairs at the Faculty of Pharmacy, South Kazakhstan Medical Academy, has joined the Council of Young Scientists of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The Council of Young Scientists serves as an advisory and consultative platform aimed at developing the scientific potential of young researchers in Kazakhstan, supporting their initiatives, and addressing current issues in science and research.
Nurgali Rakhymbayev conducts research in pharmaceutical sciences, with a focus on medicinal plant research, pharmaceutical technology, drug development, and the organization of pharmacy practice. His research in pharmacy organization also addresses the rational use of medicines, including the safe collection and disposal of expired and unused medicines accumulated in households, as well as the development of research activities in this field. In addition, he actively contributes to engaging young researchers in science and promoting scientific collaboration.
The inclusion of an SKMA faculty member in the Council of Young Scientists at the national level is a significant achievement that reflects the Academy’s scientific potential and the active involvement of its young researchers in the development of science.
