On September 13 of this year, the "Shymkent Marathon 2026"—the year's most dynamic and large-scale sporting event—took place in Shymkent. One of our students joined thousands of runners in promoting a healthy lifestyle.
Meirlan Ualikhan, a student from group VM-MOA-06-24, enthusiastically tackled the 5 km course along Al-Farabi and Kunayev streets and successfully crossed the finish line. Meirlan demonstrated in practice that the marathons main goal is not so much about winning a prize as it is about pushing ones own limits and completing the distance at a steady, confident pace. "Running alongside thousands of people on the city's main streets was an unforgettable experience. Completing the entire course and crossing the finish line was a significant achievement for me," the student shared. We congratulate Meirlan on displaying true sportsmanship and representing our institution with distinction! May every step you take lead to success!
